I am a Portuguese Canadian who comes from a family where my parents always spoke english. They are fluent in portuguese, but have not taken the time to teach me and my siblings. I understand quite a bit, but have a fear of speaking considering I do not pronounciate well. There are also alot of words I do not know. I would like to learn my native tongue and finally be able to speak to family whom I cannot communicate with because of the language barrier. I need to surpass my fear, learn to speak fluently and pronounciate. I am not very concerned with the reading and writing aspect, I would just like to conversate properly. I am considering myself as a beginner. I am looking for a teacher who is very patient and kind, and who can cooperate well with me. I'm looking forward to a lesson or two a week. I can attend classes, but I'd also prefer one on one.

I want to learn tagalog because I'm a Filipino born in Canada raised with the english language. My proficiency in Beginner. I understand when people talk to me in Tagalog however it is difficult for me to answer back in tagalog so I use english.
I need to improve on my grammer, conversation and simple sentences.
I would dedicate 2 evenings a week or how much is required. I am looking for a teacher who can help improve my use of Tagalog and sentences. I'm also traveling to Philippines this year and would like to use full sentences when I'm there.

My children and I want to learn Turkish . We know a few words but it is still best for us to learn it step by step since we visit Turkey often.
