Both of my parents are from Germany and I used to speak German very well as a small child. I have not spoken German for years and years but, always desire to speak it.
As a direct result of not speaking German for so many years, I'm uber shy about it and find myself stumbling over the simplest of words and phrases. While I could speak German with my parents, I'm embarrassed to do so becasue it's so bad.
In any event, I'm looking to arrange private lessons with someone who can help me through the initial phases of grasping conversationa l German again. I am not looking for anything that is overly structured; at least not yet. I simply wish to regain some comfort with the language and then see how far I wish to take it. I think German is such a great language and I'm proud of my German blood and roots.

My background is that my first language is French (from France), although I speak English quite well. I have spoken six languages in my life, French, German, Spanaish and Arabic.
In exchange for learning Turkish, I can help someone correct their French pronunciation or teach French in exchange for learning Turkish. I would be a beginner student in Turkish. I have wanted to learn Turkish for some time as I was born in Algeria and I know that The turkish lived there for a long time, thus having a great influence on that country. This is something I really want to do. I am willing to work two or three days a week, if possible. If this is not possible, I will do this as often as possible.
