I have no prior knowledge of Arabic whatsoever.
I am interested in learning Arabic for various reasons, the most important of which are both an intense interest in the culture of the Arabic world and the potential career benefits that come with having an understanding of the language.
I am willing to commit to at least two to three lessons a week, but this obviously depends on scheduling reaquirements of the professor and myself.
I would like to focus mostly on conversation but through these lessons would also like to have a rudimentary understanding of the written word. As for teacher qualities, I'm sure I'll get along well with anyone!

My father has a business that interact direclty with China and since i will be working with him, it is important for me to learn mandarin. I would need improvement at a conversation level. Hi!
I have been interested in Chinese language for a while and have studied it by myself with help of some Chinese friends. I feel that is time for me to try a more structured learning approach that would allow me to develop proficiency in conversation, without ignore reading and writing. I’m looking for someone that understands the difficulties that Chinese represent to a French/Englis h speaking person and is able to propose gracious alternatives to the learning pitfalls of the Putonghua.
