Though I was born here in Toronto, I've always had an appreciation for Persian culture. The people, the language, I am in awe of it all. Someday I would like to go back, and study poetry. I can understand simple dialogues, but am a very poor speaker. I would like to learn to read, write, speak, and understand the languages. I would like to dedicate at least 2 days a week to my lessons. Im looking for a teacher who is patient and is fluent in dialogue as well as familiar with poetry, music, and books. It is my dream and my passion to learn this language. I will be dedicated. In turn I need a teacher who is also passionate and dedicated. Thank You.

i would like to learn the cantonese language because i live in a place where there are many cantonese people around and it is difficult for me to communicate with them because my cantonese is very poor. I am interested in learning to converse, read & write Italian after a visit to that country.I am really a beginner although I have done a basic 8 week course in Italian earlier this year. (group)I would prefer private lessons, about an hour a week, but this may need to be flexible, rather than the same time and day each week.I have transport, but would prefer not to have to travel long distances for the lessons.I am prepared to study and do exercises in my spare time, so that the lessons will not be repetitious and that rapid progress can be made.I would like the full attention of my teacher for the hour that I am being taught,so he/she shouldnt be doing another job at the same time.I am a retired professional, and am fluent in 3 other languages.Thi s venture is entirely voluntary and needs to be enjoyable and relaxing for both student and teacher.Prefe rably, I do not want a fixed contract, and as long as I feel Im making good progress and enjoying the lessons(gramm ar, conversation, listening to and discussing Italian dialogue and music)there need not be a time limit.
