I have taken Level 1 classes at Mount Royal College, however I am still very much a beginner. I am learning Portuguese as my business is based on Brazilian retail. In order to communicate with my business partners as well as travel to Brazil. I need to work on all areas of the language. I would like to dedicate at least 3 to 4 hours a week to my lessons and more for studying. I am looking for private or semi-private lessons with a teacher that is also proficient in not only Portuguese but in English as well. I would prefer a Brazilian Portuguese teacher if possible.

Hi, I have never studied any languages, before, so I am a beginner. I love the Japanese culture, and spend time watching films in Japanese with english subtitles. I would love to visit Japan in the future, perhaps even live there.
I work nights, so a few hours a day is all I can supply; unless I get a night off.
Learning languages is hard for me, so if possible if there is someone out there who has a lot of patiance; Please teach me Japanese.

I am a sixteen year old male who was an American born Chinese now living in Canada, fluent only in English. I only know a few words in Cantonese and I would like to become fluent someday. I'm realizing now how important this language is too me and I am regretting that I did not take the chance to learn the language earlier. I am very aware that mandarin is becoming more wide spread but I wish to learn Cantonese as a way to affirm my cultural identity.
At the moment I am only interested in learning conversationa l Cantonese and not the reading/writi ng aspect of the language. I am able to spend 1-2 hours a week on lessons.
I am looking for a teacher who is fluent in English and able to explain the language to me. Maybe even correct my terrible accent!
