I have just been to Norway for a holiday and am hoping to return as soon as possible.
I am looking for someone in the sydney area to teach me Norwegian.
I have never had language lessons before so i am not sure how they are set out what with the duration and the frequency of lessons... i learn fairly quickly and am more interested in learning the spoken word rather than the written.

Hello, My name is Gisa Sainz. I have a passion for learning languages but never really thought I'd be learning Norwegian. After meeting a few Norwegians on my trip to Thailand three years ago, I became very interested in the language. I returned to Canada and signed up for an on-line course and learned a bit of the language. I then traveled to Norway to visit my friend where I ended up staying for about three months and learned some more. My boyfriend at the time was from Norway and we decided to come to Canada, but when we arrived we'd only speak English so I lost focus on my norwegian. Now that he's not in Canada anymore, I really have no way to practice. My knowledge is oneof a begginer and I would love to keep learning more and also practice it often. I love Norway and plan on going back at one point in my life, I believe that keeping my interest in the language alive will motivate me to go back to Norway.

I know a little Hebrew, but I would be starting out completely in Russian and Norwegian. The main purpose of my interest is personal and career advancement. I am looking for lessons that focus on self-expressi on and conversation ,with writing coming as a second priority. I am urgently trying to find a freelance Norwegian language tutor (native speaker) in the Sheffield/Lee ds area, to teach on a 1:1 basis for a few hours a week in either Sheffield or Leeds.
I need someone who can start with a complete beginner from mid Jan 2004, to bring up to GCSE level by the end of May 2004.
