I want to learn Norwegian firstly because it is part of my heritage - my grandmother having come from Norway and I have many relatives in Norway including my great grandmother, and secondly because I want to study in Norway at the university level and Norwegian proficiency is required. Currently, my proficiency level in Norwegian is at the beginner stage.
