Quick summary...
-I want to learn Norwegian because I love the language! It's not the only language I want to learn, but it's the one I'm tackling first. Perhaps someday I will work in Norway - who knows! For now, my reasons are personal enrichment. Don't take this to mean I treat it simply as a hobby, though; I really am serious about learning it.
-I guess it could be said that I'm just above beginner. I can make basic sentences and know a the important grammar rules...I know nothing of exceptions to the rules, though, except for a few.
-Curr ently I'm especially interested in improving my pronunciation and sound when speaking. I want to get rid of any accent I have when speaking Norwegian, and pronounce things as they should be pronounced. However, always happy to work on any aspect of Norwegian! All learning is good learning.
-On my own time, I dedicate at least 1.5 hours a day to practicing/le arning Norwegian, more if possible. I'd like to be able to practice speaking with someone fluent in the language for at least 2-3 hours a week or so.
-Quali ties I'm looking for in a teacher - confidence, and willing to shape the lessons according to the student, rather than use a pre-made course.

I'm a complete beginner, though I'm trying to study the common greetings in Norsk by myself. I want to learn Norsk for career advancement & for my self fulfillment (because learning another language is also my dream). As I said I'm a complete beginner therefore I'm starting from scratches. In the near future maybe a half day lesson a week or daily lessons for 2 hours?
I'm looking for a kind, patient & courageous teacher, of course I also want a spontaneous learning process from him/her. =)
