I want to learn another language because it is something I always wanted to do. I am very new to Japanese but I have been having a great time learning so far. The biggest place I need help is grammar. Every time I think I have a grasp on what is going on something new comes up and I get lost all over again. I study as much as possible on my own and would like to talk to a professional about the best method of learning the language. As far as a teacher goes, the biggest quality I am looking for is a native speaker. If I am going to pay someone to teach me I would prefer they be intimately familiar with the language. I have one last semester left for my Bachelors before I enlist in the Army and I would like nothing more then to spend that time learning to properly speak Japanese.

Hello. My name's Kelly. I'm actually of Japanese decent. (My grandmother is a Japanese immigrant.) I'm planning on travelling to Japan in the next two months, so I'd like some conversation and grammar experience. I know basic grammar, can read kanji taught in the first three grades of elementary school, and I can read hiragana and katakana. I am interested in Japanese language and culture. My exposure to Japanese is limited to anime (with subtitles). I want to be able to read Japanese magazines, manga, and simple novels.
The amount of time I am willing to devote to my lessons are 1-2 hours per week.

Hello!! My name is Ariel Butler. And I am studying Japanese and Korean. In 2009, I lived in Japan for 1 year as an exchange student. When I lived in Japan I had become extremely intersted in Korea also. So I began to study Korean also while i was on excange. I am looking for a teacher who can help me continue to learn Japanese.
I want to learn Japanese and Korean because I wish to be an architect in these countries^^
My Korean is very beginner and my Japanese is intermediate. Im willing to spend around 2 or maybe even 3 hours to study!
