I am taking French 1000 at Valencia. I am taking French as part of my foreign language requirement for my BA. I am moderately hearing impaired and have gotten behind the rest of the class while waiting on audio accommodation s to be made. There currently are no tutors available at Valencia. I'm a veteran that is approximately 50% hearing impaired and also have tinitus. I do have hearing aids and a ALD (Assisted Listening Device) although it is not needed in a one on one situation. The Tutor must be familiar with the text books used at college beginning level.

French- I am a beginner in French. I'm currently in French 1 in school, since August. I am learning this language because I think it's a beautiful language, and I hope to go to France one day. I need improvements in most areas. I wish to spend at least 1 hour a day practicing, if possible.
German- I have no experience speaking this language. I have never taken a lesson in it. But I might be going on a exchange program to Germany, so I wish to learn it.
Spanis h- I don't know much Spanish. But where I live most people speak it, and I would like to be able to conversate with those people in spanish.

I am looking for a French language teacher for my 11 year old twins, going 17. We live in South West Orlando. They have no prior experience but desire to learn French due to fascination with France. They also want to be able to talk to each other without me understanding them. I think that learning a foreign language is a must in one's life. We would like a long term teacher, preferably 1 hr per week. My kids like energetic, upbeat, teachers with good sense of humor. They will respond with complete attention and commitment. They are generally very easy going and quick learners. They have all A's in 5th Grade and attend other after school activities. All teachers enjoy working with them.
