I am a beginner living in San diego and would like to be able to converse with other local Spanish speaking people. ( ie various vendors, nannies etc). I would be interested in one night a week for maybe 10 weeks. Two to Three hours per session would be fine.
I would like someone who is friendly, proficient in English ( so that he/she can explain things clearly) able to supply curriculum in advance and advise of any course materials we would work from so I could do some study in advance, be open to allowing sessions to be taped for further practice.

I have a passion for languages. Right now I'm some-what conversant in Spanish and Italian (intermediate ). I would like to continue with those studies and become fluent one day. I would also like to learn Japanese, since I have developed a passion for the culture. I have a nominal amount of knowledge in Japanese...bu t would like to develop my skills in that area.
