Hola!
I understand much of Spanish, but need to improve my conversationa l vocabulary, verbs, and grammar. My purpose for learning is for better career opportunities and social networking relationships . My formal education is in nursing, and my goal is to be proficient and verbally fluent by August 2012!!
I reside in So. California, and will be in Spain from April to June 2012 in different cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Granada for at least 2 weeks each. While in Spain I will be taking group Spanish classes part time. I am willing to take lessons in-person or via video conferencing like skype. I think 5 hours per week will be appropriate, but possibly up to 10 hours per week.
If you are a teacher reading this, please respond with hourly rates, and whether you offer a free trial. Please have 5+ years experience and be a formally trained educator. Also, if you have experience in medical Spanish that is preferred. I am not as familiar with Spanish from Spain. :-)

I want to continue learning Spanish because I think it is interesting, I enjoy the culture, and I may want to work abroad one day. I am at an intermediate level with Spanish at this time but I need help with grammar, verb tenses, and conversation. I would like to dedicate around 6 to 10 hours a week to classes. My dream has always been to be fluent in many different languages. I currently speak English, Sign Language, and decent Spanish. I would like to learn Norwegian (this one is most important to me), Arabic, German, and Portuguese. I have some experience/pr actice with Norwegian. I am pretty new to German, Arabic, and Portuguese.
I am currently majoring in Spanish in college and Minoring in Arabic.
I would like to focus mainly on conversationa l skills/pronun ciation/accent .
I study some everyday and would like about two lessons per week in whatever language I can find a tutor/teacher for.
I need a teacher who is patient. I can be painfully shy at first so speaking new languages in front of teachers can be intimidating for me in the beginning.
