I am looking for someone to teach myself and/or my 4 year old son. I want us to learn as a way of broadening his ability to communicate with people in other cultural settings. If you are not interested in teaching a child i would like to learn then teach him once i get home. I started teaching him as an infant from books but once he started speaking i could not keep up with learning the sign for each individual word. I haev a very flexible schedule and therefore am willing to work in whatever setting is best for whomever is willing to help us out.

l am a beginner in sign language.l want to learn sign language so as to communicate with the dumb effectively,l have a heart for them,want to have something to do with them later in life.l,ve not started learning so l need to be taught everything from the beginning.l work in a hospital setting so l have little time but l want to learn everytin within 2 or 3 months if l'm not fast.l want my teacher to be willing to teach me not just theory but practical too.

Hello Sir or Mam,
I have been learning sign language since I was 13 years old and started with the alphabet but over time have learned enough to carry on a short conversation by signing, 'Hi', How are you' My name is Teri, and a few other words like, day, morning, father, boy, girl, beautiful and a few others but resently I have begun a relationship with a group of deaf people at my church and feel the call to join the ministry at my church but need to learn to sign correctly with ASL but I cannot afford to pay anyone right now but since I do clean houses for a living and after we have introduces ourselves I will send you the link to my business website to inform you more of the service I give. I am proposing a barter, housekeeping for ASL lessons. If you are interested I look forward to hearing from you.
