I am a beginner who grew up with a deaf brother and I will like to learn Sign language so I can communicate officially with people with hearing difficulties at work and other settings. Any assistance provided will be valued and more importantly, passed on to others with a similar need in the future. I am seeking a suitable tutor for my two boys aged four and six. The eldest is currently in P2 while his brother is in nursery school.
Bo th have shown an interest in sign language as explained/dem onstrated on educational TV programmes and the elder in French as taught in school. Both of these skills will be of great benefit to them and to others in their adult life and we are keen to give them the best encouragement when young.
Both boys are gentle in nature and respond well to one-one tutoring.

I am finishing my third semester in American Sign Language. I will have compeleted the second level in Signing Naturally. I am wanting to continue learning ASL so that I can meet, work with, and have Deaf friends. I would especially like to improve in converstaion in ASL. I would like to spend a few hours a week on lessons. Someone who is Deaf, yet patient with a hearing student would be preferred. I am wanting to learn during January and over the summer while I am at home.

i am keen to learn sign language as i wish to go into a deaf teaching and counselling profession and am especially interested in drama with deaf students and using sign language in theatre to appeal to deaf audiences. I am a beginner and have only learnt basic sign language such as numbers, alphabet, colours, countries etc. i am available from April 2004 and am willing to commit up to 10 hours a week to learn the language. i am looking for a patient understanding teacher willing to help me progress in my chosen language.
