I am a Scottish western trained Doctor with Tui-Na (Chinese Medical Massage) certificate. Recently moved to Portugal for further study/work. Very important to be able to communicate with my patients!I am applying to Ordem dos Medicos and will need to undertake a language proficiency test. I speak basic portuguese with slightly better understanding and reading skills (moved out last May but have been travelling back and forth between Portugal and Scotland). How much time I can dedicate really depends on how much the lessons are. At the moment my only income is when I go back to Scotland to work. I work hard and have no problems with practicing and homework. I would like my teacher to know their stuff, be assertive and help me learn! Thanks.

Dear Madam, dear Sir,
I start to live in Portugal (I'm 63 years old)and I want to speak the langage in the way to have the best dialog and contact with the portugese people.
I speak fluently French, (native one) and English. I understand and speak Italian.I read Spanish and Portugese. But I am a real beginner in Portugese.
H ow many time can I spend ? I am very flexible, but one time per six weeks, I travel for 6-10 days. Some weeks, I can give a lot (30 hours), some 15 hours.
Qua lities ? A good teacher. In six months, I want to be fluent in Potugese.

Hi,
I want to learn Portuguese. I am a beginner & just moved to Portugal & will be staying & working here for 1 year. Though English is not my native language but I am proficient in it & would like to have my lessons in English. My aim is to be able to communicate myself with local people & colleagues at work.
