First of all, I find Chinese language to be interesting and learning Chinese language gives me a plus points in some particular jobs. I started learning basic chinese through youtube. There were lot of people in youtube teaching different things and its confusing which one is real. I will devote my time until I mastered chinese in writing and in speaking. I would rather learn to speak mandarin than doing nothing after office hrs. Also It gives me interest since I frequently travel in Asia.
I dont have background in any dialect in Chinese although my husband is a chinese.
