I studied Mandarin Chinese in University back in 2004, lived in China for a few years, then returned to Australia. My proficiency level dropped significantly over the years, however, over the last few years I have dramatically improved through more consistent study. One of the main areas I lack at the moment is consistent speaking practise, so I'm keen to change that this year. My short to mid-range goal is to reach Level 6 HSK, (my current level is roughly around Level 4 HSK). I would hope to start out with at least 2 lessons a week, with a focus on speaking in particular. I'm looking for a native Mandarin speaker who speaks standard Mandarin, and is flexible with class times as I'm a shift worker.

Hello,
I am a senior citizen. I plan to take a tour to China in ‘28. I would like to learn some conversationa l Chinese before I go. I don’t know any Chinese at this point. I would be starting with the basics. I would like to spend two hours per week. I would like to study on Sunday and Monday but Saturday is also available.
I am looking for a teacher that can speak clear English and one that would take time to guide an older student.
