Hi,
I am a multi-lingual musician that loves learning languages and travelling. I would like to use this site to learn/practic e several languages including French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Hindi and Farsi. I have spent most of my life learning the basics of these languages and I hope to get better, or at least maintain what I have.
I have taken Spanish lessons online before and I am convinced that online education is the future.
I would like to start with one hour per week with a few languages. My main focus right now is Hindi and I would like to take a 1 hour class per day.
I am a serious student and have no problem paying for a class that I miss.

Eva, our daughter, grew up in China and has excellent spoken, written and reading skills, but we have been away for a year, and she has become rusty. We have a curriculum which she could follow, and she is also looking to get additional assistance in vocabulary review and to have fun (in Mandarin). We are looking for a tutor for the summer time to meet a couple of times a week.

I would like to learn Mandarin because I think learning a new language is fun and beneficial to communication . If I enjoy it as much as I think I will it could become a job.
I am a beginner. I work with people who speak Mandarin and Cantonese and I have only picked up a few basic words.
