I have not started learning Farsi but I would like to because I am very interested in Iranian culture, and I think the language is so beautiful. I love the country and its people and learning the language will make me feel closer to both. I am half Indian and half French which resulted in me looking Persian somehow - this is also possibly why I have an interest in the culture!! Strange but true ... I am studying in London at the moment, Culture studies at the London College of Communication , and part time working at an Indian newspaper in the city called The Indian Post. I want to be able to attend a one to one class once a week if it is far from where I live, if not, possible more than once a week depending on my university timings. Thanks, Fabia

I have for the past year been attempting to learn Modern Standard Arabic by using Rosetta Stone learning software, cd and books. Unfortunately I do not know any native speakers so I am finding it difficult to progress past beyond a beginner level. I am interested in learning Farsi, Dari, Pashto and Arabic.
I am interested in learning more about languages from the middle east that are based in some way around Arabic. I love the language and structure and would love to be proficient enough to converse and hopefully one day gain a formal qualification in middle eastern studies and languages.
I know most of the alphabet and a few phrases along with grammar but with not being able to speak regulary with a native speaker I am really struggling to progress.
I work shifts and I am willing to devote as much time as is necessary in order to become proficient.
I am looking for a tutor who is patient and willing to work with me to take my studying to the next level. I am also looking for affordability and some level of flexibility in there approach as I work irregular hours.
I work in the Wolverhampton area and I am willing to travel.
