I am a 41 year old Australian. My motivation is I recently travelled across Russia for 4 weeks and had a great time; also the company I work for has some interests in Russia which they are developing and there is a chance I could transfer there part time in a couple of years. I am not sure how I will go, as currently i can really only speak english, but I would like to try learning Russian. I am looking for one to one tuition and as I would rather not be in an environment where there are only younger students. My occupation is 2 weeks on/2 weeks off and also one 6 weeks holiday a year, so I have plenty if free time. I would like a program that both involves me studying here at home as well as periods of more intensive study in Russia. I am prepared to make as many of these trips as necessary. (I am not expecting it to be easy!)

My wife and I are beginners wanting to learn the Fijian language, as we have a property there and we would like to spend more time there. We need to mainly learn conversationa l fijian, with grammar a lesser priority. We would like at least 1 hour per week either face to face or telephone contact and would also put in 4-6 hours per week of our own personnal study time. We are looking for a teacher who is friendly and willing to work with us to achieve our goal to speak the Fijian language

From the first time i visited Thailand, i fell in love with the culture, the people and the country. I am hoping to spend more time there in the future. And being able to speak the language will be helpful.
A s of the moment i can only speak very basic Thai so i will need to work on all areas but perhaps mainly conversation.
I will have to fit the lessons in around my work, but i hope to dedicate a fair amount of time to this.
I guess the qualities i am looking for in a teacher are : patience with an easygoing nature and maturity.
