Hi, I have two boys at the ages of 5 and 7 whom I would like to learn Greek. My husband and I are both Greek so it is important to us that our boys learn their native language too. They haven't taken any Greek classes so they would have to start at beginners level. They understand some Greek when a simple question is asked, however they always respond back in English. Basically what I want is for them to be able to hold a conversation in Greek, learn to say the Greek alphabet, numbers etc. An hour a week would be sufficient for their lesson at this point in time.

At the current moment I am studying Modern Greek for my preliminary course. I started Greek half way through last year and because of my high results I was put into the Continuers level. I work very hard for Greek and that is shown with my ability of speaking, reading and understanding of the language. One of the main things I need help for is writing. I will go out of my way to get good results for Greek. The only way I will go with lessons is face to face.

I am a beginner in the Greek language and I want to learn because my father is Greek but never spoke to me in Greek when I was growing up. I am looking for lessons once a week for up to two hours with a teacher who is understanding and able to challenge me yet also to teach to my abilities. I have a friend who is in a similar position to me and we would like to learnt together. We both have a basic understanding of the language and have just finished a basic course but have had no further experience.
