I am a second generation Bengali born and brought up in the United Kingdom. My Bengali conversationa l skills are terrible and I now have children that I want to teach their mother-tongue . So I'm in need of help because I am only really able to speak broken Bangla, and need to learn both a range of verbs, and vocabulary that will enable me to confidently pass as a Kolkata girl rather than one that can be spotted a mile off as an outsider :). I'm currently at home with a new born baby which means I can manage an hour session once or twice a week (the teacher will have to be flexible). I'm hoping for a Kolkata based teacher because this is where my family is, and also because the hourly rates will be affordable now that I've got another child to pay for too!

I am looking to learn Slovakian from a beginner level, I am doing this as my previous partner is planning to return to Slovakia with our children and wish to ensure that I can communicate with them and also understand them should they use Slovak when with myself and my family.
I work long hours but would like to try and dedicate as much time as possible to this for obvious reasons.
I need to find a tutor that can take me from a beginner level to advanced as the children will progress very fast with their learning. I would like the lessons on a one to one basis as I think that I would learn better this way.
