I am a beginner, only knowing some words and a tiny bit of the script.
Like a few other learners requesting teachers through this forum, I am in a relationship with a Sri Lankan and want to learn so that I can speak to his family and friends, understand him in his native tongue and to support our future children.
I would like to focus on conversation, but would also like to know everything including the script.
I am happy to fit in with my teacher's schedule, but can dedicate 3 hours a week to lessons.
I am not great at learning languages and I would like someone who is patient, friendly, genuine and understanding .
I have wanted to learn for some time now and would like to hear from a teacher ASAP. Thanks!

I go to tokyo often and am considering taking a gap year from uni to stay for a year in Tokyo on a working holiday visa.
