Tiaan has been taught english for the last 6 years in New Zealand and Australia and is now in year 10. He still seems to lack a basic understanding of the building blocks of the language and his spelling and grammer needs a lot of work. Tiaan was originally taught in Afrikaans and had to switch over to English at year 6 and by missing out on the earlier years he still can't make much sence of spelling and grammar. As Tiaan only has 2 years left of school we would like to help him improve before he consider further studies or joins the work force. Level Intermediate. I1 hour a week for lessons and 1 hour a day at home doing homework.

Hi,
I am from Mexico and currently working in Australia. I need to learn portuguese since my boyfriend is Brazilian. I am an absolute beginner although have the advantage of speaking Spanish as my native language and also French at an intermediate level, so i hope this helps my learning curve.
I am really enthusiastic about the idea of learning the language and would like to learn it as fast as possible since I'll be traveling to Brazil in 5 months and would like to have a conversation ability by then.
I am looking for a teacher who is really interactive and teaches a more conversationa l method than only grammar stuff.
