I am taking an advanced Spanish course focusing on Spanish literature at SMU. I am a senior and wanting to complete a second major in Spanish as well as really grasp the language and feel comfortable speaking.
I need help, probably once a week for one hour, to go over what I'm learning in class, help with homework and preparation for test.
I would like to start as soon as possible so that I do not fall behind in class.

I minored in Spanish at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and studied abroad in Spain from Jan.2003-May2 003. However, after my return from Spain I had finished all my Spanish class requirements and have not had much practice since. I want to get back to feeling comfortable talking with fluent speakers. Please help.

I have taken a couple of spanish classes over the last few years, but I am ready to get serious about learning. I have many reasons to learn to speak Spanish: my heritage is Spanish; I think everyone should be able to speak more than one language; I manage bilingual people; and I think it would be fun to learn!! And did I mention that I was going to Spain in Oct?!?!
I am willing to dedicate 4-6 hours per week and looking for private lessons or a small group. I want an instructor who has experience teaching and knows how to make learning fun. I prefer someone for whom Spanish is their first language.
