Proficiency level: Studied Japanese language at University of Maryland University Colleges for 7 semesters, Fussa-shi, Japan. But, have forgotten many Kanjis and wish to reclaim my level of proficiency.
I am learning because I want to become fluent in Japanese and to also make my self more marketable in the job market.
I need improvement in Kanji, the proper use of particles. Also, my conversationa l skills have diminished considerably.
I work full-time and am also a grad student. I can meet in person on the weekends.
I need a teacher that is proficient in teaching, and lessons where I will have measurable results and noticeable progress.

I would like to receive tutoring lessons in Russian. I spoke Russian very well at one point but I forgot a lot of it. I would like to spend approximately 2-3 hrs a week with a Russian speaking teacher. Hello.My wife and I and our just 16 year old son are planning to make aliyah within 1-3years but we cannot speak Hebrew.We are orthodox Jews. My wife and I can pronounce our prayers in Hebrew but cannot translate. Our son's pronounicatio n is very poor. Sept. he will be going to out of town Yeshiva. Primary concern is for our son during August to develop some confidence in conversationa l Hebrew while being given basic grammar. His English grammar is very poor. I am retired and my Wife works from Home office so we can be available day or evening with prior notice. My wife is native Russian and Polish speaking and is very good in languages.She is fluent in English. I was thinking about 2 maybe 3 one hour to 1 1/2 hr lessons/week. Prehaps first 1/2 hr for all 3 of us then 10m for my Wife and 20m for my son. Cost is an important factor. Have available Panafax( effectively a black board)for in person lessons. Lessons for Wife and I could continue after August if we are satisfied.
