I would still very much a beginner level even though I have studied Farsi at SOAS for a year. I have a bad memory for vocabularly through being slightly dyslexic.
I am interested in Farsi, because my neighbourhood has many Afghans, and also because of my work I meet many Afghans as well and Iranians in the past. (I am also interested in making links between the local churches and the etnic communities in our area such as Afghan, Iranian etc).
I am interested, because one of your Farsi teacher's also teaches Greek, and it is always helpful to for myself to try and make links with both of the languages.
I am thinking about going to Tehran next year (dependent upon politics), and I was thinking of joining a Farsi class. This is because I do not want to start forgetting the Farsi, but work on it every now and again.
I only want to be able to have a basic understanding of the Farsi language.
With this option, does it also include accommodation .

My fathr is a filipino and i would really once and for all like to learn tagalog the filipino national language. My sister and i would both be interested in learning and wuld prefer face to face learning. We are total beginners so we have to start from the begining. I would like to dedicate 1 evening per week or every saturday. We are looking for a good teacher who will be patient.
