I have been learning Slovenian on my own for 2 years now. I am learning it because my boyfriend is Slovene. I think it is quite hard to learn a language on your own especially if there is not so much material available. So I would like to try lessons via the internet, or even in person... but I don't think there are any Slovenians in Newcastle. I think I need particular improvement in expressing myself orally and in understanding what people say. I also need to learn more voabulary. I want to study Slovenian as often as I can but I think I will only be able to afford one hour per week, well, that depends on how much you charge. ;) I also speak German and French fluently. I am about to take my finals in Italian at the University of Glasgow and am looking for lessons on a regular basis to fine tune my written proficiency. I need to work on translations and vocabulary.
I want to dedicate about 4-5 hours a week for the next six or seven weeks before my exams. I'd like a teacher who can provide me with details on the kind of level I need to reach to do well in my written exams and who will be aware of the kind of materials which will help me do so.
