I am planning to move to Sweden in two years as my partner is Swedish and he lives there. I plan to work in Sweden and as I hold a professional job its important my Swedish language is to a good standard. I have bought books on the Swedish language and my partner is helping, but I feel in order to reach a good level prior to moving to Sweden I need prefessional help from a teacher. I was so pleased when I found this web site as I am so keen to learn. I would like private lesson's if possible as I think I would learn better that way and I am prepared to travel. I work shifts but could manage an hour a week as well as my own private studying. I would need to start at beginner level as I need to master the whole language and currently only know about forty words. As for qualities in a teacher, I just want somebody who can help me as this is so important to me.

Hi,
i am a complete beginner and am very interested in taking lessons in Arabic. i am going to be living in Alexandria from December 2007 for one year and am hoping to become fluent. i am learning Arabice for three reasons. firstly i have always been fascinated by the language having come across it many times in my travels, my wife-to-be speaks Morraccan dialect and i am also interested in becoming a diplomat based in the middle east. i want to learn to speak and understand conversation, and also write and read arabic script.
I am hoping to have a weekly lesson for about an hour-and-half or two hours.
i need somebody local based and somebody patiant and clear.
