I am a beginner seeking to reach the intermediate level of spoken French within 6 months. I will be supplementing lessons with tapes and computer CDs. I'm willing to dedicate at least 7-10 hours per week and will accept your recommendatio n of how many of those hours need to be spent on tutoring to achieve my goal. I can already read French on a beginner level but I know I need to work on increasing my vocabulary.
Native French speaker( preferably from an African country or the Caribbean) OR
Person who is certified to teach/tutor French and who has taught adult clients for more than 4 years.
Person who can offer structured lessons and learning plan.

Beginner desirous of learning French as intention is to relocate to Victoria British Columbia and the Canadian citizenship is granted on a point system which I qualify for if I am fluent in the French language. I seek live instruction preferably an aggressive approach and I can dedicate as much as 5 hours per week to this endeavor. I have taken one year of French at Saint Thomas University and would like to continue to take French classes in Miami, FL. I am able to read and write much better than I am able to pronounce the words. I would like to one day be proficient enough to carry on a conversation in French.
