I'm a beginning student of Arabic. I'm particularly interested in learning the Egyptian dialect, which I understand to be a bit easier to learn. I'm a little familiar with the Arabic alphabet. I speak several other languages, so I'm able to pick up accents and sounds very well. I wish to dedicate about 2 hours a week learing. I'm looking for a warm, patient, and friendly teacher. Level: Beginner--wen t to Hebrew elementary school; learned to read, know a few words; forgot most of it by now.
Why: Studying medicine in Israel this Fall; need to be able to interview patients.
Time: As much as I can.
Quali ties: Good analytical skills. I like teachers who can break down complicated concepts/idea s and condense them (as much as possible) into general rules. I also work hard and learn fast, so I want teachers who teach fast and get to the point.
