Not for me; I'm looking on behalf of my employers.
They're looking for a Mandarin tutor for their three children (5, 7 & 9 yrs) - acquisition of the language may prove to be a useful skill for their futures.
They are native English speakers so I am after a tutor who will teach from the basics of basics and focus on the speaking aspect (writing, not so much).
They are looking for someone organised enough to devise a goal-oriented , term-based lessons plan; but more importantly focus on engaging the children and making lessons fun.
Experienc e with children is an advantage. If not, an all-round pleasant demeanour speaks volumes.
As a group, one or two separate hours a week is preferred, but can be negotiated.

I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. I am fluent in English.
5 years ago I picked up basic mandarin, but I never used the language, so I have forgotten it all.
I really want to pick up again and take it into fluent level.
I am really looking for intensive teaching methods and I am willing to pay well to someone who is competent of teaching the language in a short/medium period of time.
