I am beginner in Spanish, and would like to find a private teacher to help jumpstart my language study--with particular emphasis on grammar. I will be finished with my masters degree at the end of October, and would like to dedicate a few months solely to begin my Spanish study before I begin working. I would like to learn Spanish mainly for professional reasons, and I plan to do community-bas ed development work related to reproductive health.
I would like to have two lessons per week, an hour and a half each--at least in November and December and potentially extending into later months. My budget range is $15-20 per hour.
I am looking for an engaging, experienced teacher who will challenge me and help design the best strategy for my Spanish learning based on my strengths and weaknesses. I have studied several languages before including French, and find disciplining myself with grammar the most difficult.
I would like to find a tutor by the end of August so that I can begin immediately in November when I return to Tampa.

I have loved the Spanish language since I was quite young. I chose it for my language study in high school and later took a couple of continuing education courses at USF. It is a goal of mine to actually be able to speak the language. This is for my own edification as well as the thought that it could be helpful for me with regards to employment. I would be interested in a small group lesson, probably every week or every other week for perhaps three hours. I would be interested in starting in the fall.

I used to live in Puerto Rico and went to school my 5th grade year when I was 10yrs and used to read, write and speak spanish. I know am 29yrs old and am no longer to speak spanish. I am a college student, home for the summer, who has taken Spanish classes for seven years. I have completed all the levels of Spanish grammar, but in preparation for studying abroad in the Spring, I need to gain some confidence in my speaking abilities.
I'm looking for a native speaking teacher who can provide a supportive environment for someone who needs to become more comfortable speaking Spanish.
