I'm studying Chinese for personal growth and potential career advancement. I'm an American on assignment in Manila and while here would like to begin to learn. I am currently enrolled at the Mandarin Training Center of ShiDa in Taiwan however working and being enrolled is too stressful so I'm coming back to Manila where I hope to meet with a tutor for 10 hours a week starting Oct 2010.
For me learning to speak would be preferred and the writing is less important in the beginning. As I travel between the US and Manila, I hope to continue my studies through Skype or other online technologies.

I am interesting to learn chinese as a 3th language. I am a ISM student and studied Basic Chinese last year. This year all the courses were full in ISM and I want to continue learning this fantastic language.
I count on 3 hours a week and want to have a chinese teachear with english knwolege, that offers me speaking, writing and reading comprehention of chinese.

I would like to ask how much to you charge for an hour Chinese language course? i needed this for career advancement in scuba diving field. i have studied Chinese when i was in my elementary. i still remember some words and i know how to write but cannot construct a sentence. i would like to know grammar and conversation in mandarin.
