I have always enjoyed studying and learning. I have no material reason for learning Russian (job, relationship etc.). I am challenging myself to learn this language to expand my horizons and hopefully be able to read some of my favorite literature in the original Russian.
Wandering through the Hermitage is on my travel list. A trip to St. Petersburg would only be enhanced if I had a good grasp of the language. I may be able to make friends in the Russian community as well.

I am on a spiritual path which requires knowledge of Sanskrit, and since the understanding of this vast subject will be greatly enhanced by proper pronunciation and written recognition, I wish to study the language.

I'd like to learn conversationa l Japanese for when I travel there next time. Being conversationa l fluent would be ideal.
I'v e studied casually for about 2 years but I need a lot of work on conversationa l Japanese and sentence learning and comprehension . I currently know about 500 words and 200 Kanji.
I study for about 1/2 hr every day, but I would like a more structured study once a week or every two weeks if possible.
I'm looking for a native Japanese teacher that is fun but can still push me to learn the language :)

I would like to learn mandarin. I speak Cantonese. I used to know how to speak mandarin but I have forgotten most of it. I would like to learn how to speak mandarin fluently and possible read/write as well. I have learned to read/write chinese in my past but have forgotten a lot of it.
