We are beginners. My husband and I would be interested in learning Vietnamese. Our first language is English and we have never spoken Vietnamese before. We are wanting to learn this language because we may move to Viet Nam one day and would like to know the local language before we move and also to learn something new. We wish to dedicate one night a week to this new study, probably 2-3 hours at a time. Our teacher should be able to come to our downtown condo, be fluent in Vietnamese and teach us how to read, write and speak properly. The lessons should be very thorough.

My son is visually impaired, and has not been offered french in school, he is behind, the lessons taught at his school for the blind are all done for visual learners. I have been on them for 2 years now. He is 10 years old, and can speak a little french, he also knows portugues and spanish. I am looking for conversationa l lessons.

I am a beginner but want to learn vietnamese. I need improvement in all areas including grammar and conversation. I would like to dedicate a few(3-6) hours a week. I want to have command of the language to be able to converse easily, and be able to read and write at least at an elementary level. I realize that this endeavour may continue for a period of at least 1 to 3 years.
I hope that my instructor will be prepared with lesson plans and have a goal focused mindset.
