I am a beginner, although I know basic things such as how to read (slowly!) and pronunciation . I know a few basic words & phrases as i went to greek school for four years, but i didn't feel like i learned very much. i also have been working from a book called 'teach yourself'. i want to learn to speak greek well because i want to go to greece at the end of june this summer 2008 with my mom. i want to know basic conversation skills that i will be able to improve while i'm there. ideally, i would like one hour a week or two-one hour sessions/week dedicated to teaching sessions. i want my teacher to be a native speaker who knows a lot about greek & will never leave me confused. i want them to be nice & not get frustrated with me!

I am at the very initial stages of learning Arabic. My husband speaks Arabic fluently and we have a 2 year old son. My son is learning Arabic and I would like to teach him as much as I can. I feel that Arabic is a beautiful language and I would really like to be able to have a conversation with my family in their native tongue. I would like to have lessons at least twice a week if possible.
I am looking for a teacher that is thorough and patient. It is important for me to understand context so therefore, I ask alot of questions. I would like to work with someone that solicits results and challenges me to push myself.
