As Japanese is such a vast and challenging language I do not feel I should classify myself as another other than a beginner. I've taken many Japanese classes in my life and do plan on continuing them, but for the meantime I am in need of someone to refresh my memory and to help me to continue forward in my learning at least until my next course (which hopefully will be in January).
I've always wanted to learn the language since I was very young. I would say I'm mainly taking it for fun, but there is a business side to it as well as I know being a teacher could be quite beneficial and exciting to do.
I would love to dedicate as much time as I possibly can to studying this language, especially since I need to prepare myself for January's course. I desire to catch up to my classmates who are now 2 levels hire than me so if I can learn the equivalent of the level 4 course that I am to take perhaps then I will be able to skip the actual class and join my friends in the level 5 in January.
T he qualities I seek in my teacher are patience and understanding , with a will to give me a try and help me out.

-Can understand punjabi well enough to get by, as well as read and write quite a bit, however speaking it is a different story, not as good as I would like to be. I want to learn it in order to go back to India next summer and be able to fully understand and carry out conversations . Conversation is the main area I would like to improve but I would like to know as much as possible in a few months.
