I moved to Montreal from the states and I would like to learn the basics to be able to have a conversation in french. I would like to dedicate 2-3 hours a week for 3 months. I have no basic knowledge of the Chine, Mandarin language. I have always wanted to learn Mandarin. I already speak four languages (Greek, english, french all fluently and basic Swedish). The reason I want to learn foreign languages is because I love having the ability to speak any language, and being able to communicate with people is important to me. I also enjoy the learning the structures and patterning of languages as well as the symbolism for writing. I am prepared to spend 8 hours a week or more focusing on learning Mandarin.
The qualities I am looking in my teacher is someone who makes learning fun and at the same time challenging and structured.
