I am a beginner in Japanese.
I am learning Japanese because I'm going to japan for a year on a student exchange. The areas I need to learn in this language are grammar and conversationa l but mostly conversationa l as I will be taking required lessons while I am there. I have a lot of free time as of right now so the time of lessons and time spent in a lesson would be up to the person teaching. I'm looking for a good teacher who is as serious about teaching Japanese as I am about learning it.

I am a 'mature' learner--have been studying Italian for 5 years once a week for pleasure. I love the country and culture and plan to continue travelling there when possible. My proficiency level might be considered intermediate and I would like to work further on conversation skills primarily, with some emphasis also on grammar, as well as reading comprehension . My first 3 years of instruction were at UBC Continuing Studies and the past 2 years, a friend and I were tutored privately by a native Italian teacher in her home. Since her return to Italy this summer, we are looking for a new native Italian teacher, ideally someone close to our ages who is able to meet us either in his/her home or one of ours.

Namaste,
I am really interested in learning conversationa l Hindi as well as the grammar behind it. I would like to become completely fluent.
After spending 3 weeks in India this past summer I decided that I wanted to return but I was determined to speak the language fluently before that. My company also has thoughts of developing their jurisdiction to include India and I wish to return in a working capacity.
However, since the extent of my knowledge comes from friends and just the basic greeting and questions I definitely need a lot of help.
I would like to have regular night classes and/or if possible weekend classes that I could attend. However, I travel throughout Canada every couple of weeks so the classes would have to have a flexible schedule that could accomodate my travels.
I'm looking for a teacher that will have the flexibility and knowledge to bring me on my journey of discovering the Hindi language to a fully conversationa l level while making it fun!
