I am a beginner to the Spanish language. I have taken a beginner course 2 years ago, but haven't really used it since then. I am looking to do some travelling throughout Latin America this coming September and so I am really looking to put some effort into learning this language:)
I think conversationa l Spanish is the most important for me to learn. I would like to put in a couple of hours/week. I think that it's very necessary that my teacher has patience, other than that, I just want to have fun with it!

I'm a beginner in Japanese, and a native speaker in English.
I want to learn more Japanese, because in a few years I may be going to Japan with my mom, so I would like to be prepared for whatever I may experience there. While I'm in Japan there's also a chance I might enroll into a school there for a semester. Even though the chance is small, I would like to audition for a singing group there! Basically, Japanese fascinates me and I would like to be billingual in both English and Japanese.
Ar eas that I would like to improve in would be grammar, conversationa l skills, all the basics and all that there is to know.
I would dedicate 1-4 hours a day. In a teacher, I'm looking for a teacher who is kind yet strict, who won't get mad and yell at mistakes that I would make. The teacher will have to be able to teach me all the basics before going onto something more complicated, they would have to be patient and make sure to give me homework, which will help me learn.
