I was hoping to learn Somoli. I have many friends who speak the language fluently. I would like some formal, basic knowledge to communicate. I am not sure how much time I would need. Hello,
I am a second year university student who has recently returned from a semester in Chennai, India. I was volunteering at an orphanage and I enjoyed my time so much that I would like to return for a much longer period time in the future. However, I would love to return with a basic working knowledge of the Tamil language in order to communicate with the children and workers. I specifically would like direct teaching on conversation speaking and listening skills. I would be willing to spend time with my teacher on a weekly basis for approximately the duration of a school year, September to April, if this amount of time was necessary.
