I wish to learn Arabic as in commonly spoken from most Arabic people here in Canada.
I am learning this language for personal reasons as well as a challenge.
I need to start from the beginning, Im not interested so much in learning how to write arabic but to speak it.

I have not experience in the language. However, my husband is Arab, and I would like to learn and communicate with him in this rich culture. He is often overseas in business and we both speak English. I have always been interested in various languages and this would be a good start. I would dedicate more time when he is away, maybe 2 hours - 4 hours a week. and when he is in town - less time as I have to accommodate him.
I would like the teacher to communicate well in explaining the proper protocol in the language and culture.
