Every week there are two Study in Action days including trips to destinations such as London, Bath, Cardiff, Stratford upon Avon. Whilst being on a trip, students will also further explore the topic of the week by visiting unique places such as BBC Television Studio in Cardiff, The National Space Centre in Leicester, or the Thames Barriers in London.
The price of the course is £830.00 per week and this includes tuition, a full sport and leisure programme, an end of course report and certificate, trips, accommodation , food, an Oxford bus pass, 24 hour emergency helpline and airport transfers from/to London Heathrow on the arrival/depar ture day.

I will test current language skills during the first lesson. The test is split into three parts: listening/und erstanding/spe aking, reading/under standing/respo nding, writing/gramm ar. After that I will agree a course of action and individual lesson plans with the student based on their skills and individual targets. I believe that practice is most important and therefore I would prefer to teach in video conferencing as this would allow a high quality of speaking practice to be delivered. However, I can also offer lessons based on correspondenc e only were speaking can be recorded and will be assessed later. |

I would get the student to talk as much as possible, which though sounds obvious at first, is actually quite difficult. I would use different media for the student to learn from and not just books. |

I think that to memorise words and phrases is the msot difficult as soon as you over 20.So I try to use the words, we want to learn, in different ways.Homework is useful as it gives you chance to try yourself- do you remeber anything or not...Some laugh is very good.
I am working around life situations,re al life, as all the rest you can get from self studing material.
