Every week there are two Study in Action days including trips to destinations such as London, Bath, Cardiff, Stratford upon Avon. Whilst being on a trip, students will also further explore the topic of the week by visiting unique places such as BBC Television Studio in Cardiff, The National Space Centre in Leicester, or the Thames Barriers in London.
The price of the course is £830.00 per week and this includes tuition, a full sport and leisure programme, an end of course report and certificate, trips, accommodation , food, an Oxford bus pass, 24 hour emergency helpline and airport transfers from/to London Heathrow on the arrival/depar ture day.

Program Description

We offer 2 to 6 week courses for students aged 14 to 18 from Sunday 4th July to Sunday 15th August. Our courses offer a rich mixture of lessons, workshops and projects in a unique themed approach. Every week is dedicated to an interesting topic e.g. Discovering Design, Innovation and Change (Science and Technology), Past and present (History), Music and Performing Arts, Beyond the Brand (Marketing, Communication and Business).
Students receive 18-22 hours of English tuition a week taught by specialist teachers in small groups. Students will improve their English skills by applying writing, speaking and listening skills to interesting topics. For example students will work on their writing when preparing a report about a Sport Science Experiment; they will develop their speaking skills by talking to a journalist; improve their grammar by using the text from a Musical or practice listening at a workshop at The Shakespeare Globe Theatre, etc.
