I want to continue my Japanese language lessons because I am half Japanese. I used to take lessons 5 years ago but stopped because I got married and had 2 children. They are 1 & 2 years old and I would like for them to learn to speak Japanese eventually.
I'm not sure yet if I want to do in person or video conferencing. I think that I can dedicate 1 to 2 hours per week. In my former language class I had to study at least 1 hour per day. With two very small children I'm hoping that I can still dedicate the time.
The qualities that I am looking for in a teacher is experience and patience. Also, someone that will making learning a very difficult language somewhat fun and interesting.

I've always been interested in Travel, and Japan strikes me as the one place I wish to visit the most, therefore, I've been trying to learn Japanese on my own, to little success. I'm planning to study abroad in two years, and I would like to know the language, or at least a sufficient bit of it before going.
I'm practically a beginner(I know a little hiragana)
I need help in conversation, grammer, reading, pretty much all aspects.
I'm graduating this year, and would like to start learning during the summer, or when school starts again in September.
I dont know my schedule for the next year yet, so i'm not sure as to how much time I may be able to dedicate.
I am looking for a native speaker of the language, who lives in the vicinity, and is capable or teaching in person, as well as online.

I am a beginner at learning Japanese. All I know are very basic terms and phrases, but I have no idea of the writing or grammar involved and would probably fail in a conversation. I would like someone to come 2-3 times per week and I will try to be as flexible as possible so that our schedules will match. I don't care whether the person is a native speaker or not, but mastery of the language, as well as experience, is required.
