I am writing this for my 17 year old daughter . She is self-learning Japanese right now but we would like her to have a tutor for proper use of Japanese . We live in Joliet,Il and would be willing to drive to a tutor's place or a library in between our cities . I am not particular as to the origin of the instructor but a native person would probably be the better way to go . Thank you .

I'm a beginner in Japanese. My dream is to learn this language and become a translator. I want to start fresh and start relearning Japanese. I've been through Japanese I and II (with Japanese for busy people) but retaining it is hard when you have no one to speak it with. I want to dedicate as much time as I can to this.

I am able to drive to local San Diego locations, if needed. I prefer private setting, one-to-one instruction in downtown area of San Diego, if possible.
