Hi.
I have been studying Japanese by myself for years, and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere, or making as much progress as I would like to.
I can't afford to spend money on classes and stuff. Plus I would like the one-on-one time with the teacher, so I can feel comfortable getting all the help I need.
I would prefer if 'Sensei' came to my house, but if they let me know beforehand, I wouldn't mind meeting them at their house or somewhere in the city.
I would also like if some one could tutor me twice a week.

Greetings!
I want to learn Japanese because of my interest in the language and my fondness for Japan's culture and history. But there is another reason. I have written my own 'kwaidan,' or ghost story, and I intend to make it into a movie. But to do that properly I must film it in Japan with an all Japanese cast. And unless I want to make a terrible movie, which I do not, I must be able to speak Japanese fluently in order to communicate with my actors effectively. (In truth, I want to be able to write the script for this movie in Japanese as well.)
Of course, I figure on paying you, as long as your fees are within reason. And I would make a good student considering that I am VERY determined to learn everything I can. As for my skill level, I have been reading alot of books on ukiyo-e and japanese poetry lately which has familiarized me with the language but in reality I know only a few words and some pronunciation but that's all. Hopefully you can teach me alot more.
