I am a beginner who only knows a few words/phrases here or there, I took Spanish in high school but i am very very rusty and my pronunciation will need work.
I would like to go once a week for an hour to an hour and a half if possible. I realize that schedules can be difficult however so I am flexible.
I would like someone who is kind and understands that i won't learn just from reading a book. I learn best from listening to someone say a phrase or word and then repeating or else I could learn from a website for free.

I was born in Uzbekistan in 1994 when it was still part of Russia. I moved to the United States when I was four and have been living there for now ten years. I want to learn another language because it will help me in the future, and well pretty much because it's fun and I just want to learn. -Proficiency level: One year of language study (Japanese) in 2007-2008 school year
-Prof icient in hiragana/furi gana. Some katakana.
-Purpose of education: Educated for college references. Kyoto University is my goal.
Area s that need improvement: Writing, Grammar, Conversation, and sentence structure.
I would like to dedicate as much time as possible to my lessons. It is very important, however, that lessons may come cheap (as I will be paying for them myself) $30-$50 an hour or less. I am a very hard worker and will undoubtedly catch on very quickly.
I am looking for a teacher that specializes in Japanese reading, writing, and speaking. I am looking for a teacher that will help me learn as much as I can in the next two years.
