I now live and work in malaysia and happen to travel for business purposes over SE asia.
I wish to learn madarin as my aim when living in a country is to interact with others.
my native languages are french and spanish even though i studied and worked in France.
I will be able to allocate 2 hours weekly to learn Mandarin and unfortunately i may have to travel from time to time outside malaysia hence rendering myself unavailable for study at times.
I look for a teacher that can guide me through the initial intrincacies of this completely new language

I work as an IT Business Analyst in Cyberjaya, Selangor. I have been with the IT industry for more than 6 years now, and I just started work here in Malaysia last August 2008. Looking at the trend of my career, most employers prefer those who can speak Mandarin, other than the standard qualification for a Business Analyst. And seeing that China is rapidly growing, I would like to align myself to the next biggest IT market in the world.
I also have a lot of Chinese friends in KL. I would like to talk to them in their own language, other than English.
